Excellence- a term I want to define my live with. I have worked on this important, complex and inspiring topic for nearly two years, but I know yet that this task will never be finished, it will remain a life time process. Academic achievement plays in important role in my life, nevertheless I am always striving for a wider focus, the focus of cultural diversity, enriching human interaction and long lasting changes. Therefore, I am setting my goals based on two basic principles. The first is “When you dream of something, you go for it”, no matter how far away this goal might seem, you improve day by day until you reach it. The second is. “Real success is driven by values”. Through all achievements I want to create long lasting change, make a difference. Through my keynotes and programmes I want to share some insights, experiences and create a long lasting impression, which will empower to create excellence.
After my Fulbright Graduation I was sitting with other Fulbright Scholars in the American Consulate in Hamburg and listening to a speech of a journalist. He looked at us and said: “In ten years, all of you will be in a position to change the world. But will you be capable to initiate true change? Or better say, will you be capable to initiate the right change? With every year our world gets more and more connected. Changes in one country could have a dramatic influence on the whole world. But how can you be ready for this tasks if you have not seen the world?”. I will never forget this words.
Travel in one of the most important parts of my live. I have studied and worked on different continents, experienced different cultures. Travel is one of the best investments which can be done, real live experience is the best way to learn, to set the right goals and to develop consciousness.
